I began working in the field of ABA in 2004. After receiving my Master’s degree in Psychology from California State University, Los Angeles in 2008 and receiving my Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification in 2010, I continued to pursue great learning opportunities for my own clinical skill advancement. I’ve had the opportunity to work in many settings including schools, hospital clinics, center-based, home-based, residential and community-based programs. I’ve had experience in many areas of the field of Applied Behavior Analysis including specialized treatments (such as feeding, sleeping, toileting, severe behavior, etc.) and have a particular passion for working with young children diagnosed with Autism and their families. Equal to that passion is my commitment to quality treatment and the use of Organizational Behavior Management (OBM) techniques for building and maintaining quality treatment teams. Aspire began in 2014 with the vision of meeting the needs of the community by providing the highest quality treatment possible and Aspire has grown to meet the challenges faced by families and children impacted by Autism throughout the Kansas City area. It is our goal that each family receiving ABA treatment at Aspire sees our passion and our commitment to their child’s success, feels the warmth of the collaboration and relationship we build with them, and is astonished at the progress that we help their child make developmentally. There is nothing better than being a part of a child’s early development, seeing a parents face as they successfully teach their child, or support an RBT as they realize and embrace their importance in each child’s life they touch. At Aspire we are family! We embrace our differences and unite in our passion to bring about positive change in the life of each child we treat.
