Summer Social Skills Camp
July 27, 2015 - August 7, 2015
Join us for our first annual Summer Social Skills Camp July 27th- August 7th!
These 2-week programs will target common social skills deficits commonly faced by children with Autism. Our ultimate goal is to assist children in becoming completely independent in creating and maintaining friendships and navigating successfully within all social environments. Programming and activities will be developed based on participants current needs to target necessary skills they may currently be missing. Two groups are offered based on age of participants. Ages 2-3 will partake in a playgroup targeting prerequisite skills (e.g. parallel play, sharing, etc.). Our group for ages 4-6 will target more advanced social skill development (e.g. turn taking, initiating and maintaining conversations, sustained social play, etc.).
