As our most common service, Aspire provides intensive ABA treatment for children at home or in the community. This treatment works to promote the development and behavioral success of children with various special needs (e.g., Down’s Syndrome, language delays, learning differences, ADHD, etc.). Aspire can provide this service for all children and specializes in implementing this treatment with children diagnosed with Autism. Initial skills assessments are conducted to determine your child’s current skill deficits and individually tailored programming is then developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to address these deficits and teach necessary skills. Your BCBA will provide a recommendation for treatment hours based on your child’s assessment results. Direct care staff, or treatment implementers, work one-on-one with your child to teach skills and address any behavioral deficits. All of your child’s services are designed with him or her specifically in mind and are based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). As such, all programming is monitored through intensive data collection and progress is reviewed at regularly scheduled treatment team meetings, which include parents and other relevant persons in your child’s life. Additionally, skills assessments are conducted every 6 months to further ensure continued progress. Parent and sibling trainings are provided as part of our comprehensive intervention. This allows for all members of your child’s treatment team to be involved and ensure that the most progress is made and maintained long term. As a team, your family and our staff work together to ensure that your child’s needs are met and their full potential is realized.
